I am
taking the opportunity of going through the Gospels. I decided to start off in
the Book of John because that's been translated in the mirror Bible and I
really enjoy the mirror Bible. I can tell you it's a process, since I have
committed to reading the Gospels it's taking longer than usual to go through
it. Thinking about everything that
Jesus said. In fact, all I've been able
to read this morning is just this verse.
What a powerful promise.
John 6:40 And this is the desire of my Father, that everyone
who 1sees the son, through his eyes, and finds the conclusion of (eis) their
persuasion in him, will resonate (echo) the life of the ages! And I will 2raise
him up in the final day! (The word 1theōreo means to gaze attentively. See
Hosea 6:2 After two days he will revive us; 2on the third day he will raise us
up, that we may live before him.)
With this
promise I believe comes Joy. So, I want to bless your spirit with the joy of
the Lord. That your joy touches everyone that you come in contact with. That it
is contagious. That when people see you today they look at you and they say I
want what you have. What is it? Why do you have so much peace in your heart?
Why are you so different from other people that I have met?
1 Peter 2:9
Remember we are a chosen generation a royal priesthood a Holy nation a peculiar
people.... that He who brought you out of the darkness and into His marvelous
light.
Always be prepared to give a reason for the
hope that you have. Know your story and tell it with enthusiasm and with
passion from the heart.
Exodus
14:12-14 And Moses said to the people,
“Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work
for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.
The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”
I want to bless your spirit with the peace you
find when you rest in him
I am not alone
…… your heart is my home.
